Steiff's range of dogs were in their heyday in the 1920's and 1930's. The original Charly was created on 20th January 1930. Charly is the successor of the very popular Molly and Ajax dogs.

This lovely spaniel is made of the finest brown and cream long pile mohair and he has glass eyes and a wood wool stuffing. For the final finishing touch, Charly wears a golden bell around his neck which hangs off of a minty green cord. He features a replica button in ear and red tag from the period, with his modern tag neatly hidden on his hind leg. 

He is limited to only 930 pieces worldwide and comes with a numbered certificate in a Steiff gift box with its original protective cardboard outer sleeve.
